Porterville College Athletics celebrated an outstanding 2018-19 season on and off the field on Monday night at the 11th annual Academic and Athletic Achievement Awards.
Porterville College freshman Dominic King ruled the All-Central Valley Conference postseason awards. The Las Vegas native racked up the honors on Sunday, being named the CVC Freshman of the Year while also being selected to the All-CVC first team, All-Defensive team and All-Freshman team.

Instead, PC settled for a split after beating El Camino College 84-75 on Saturday. On Friday, Porterville came up short in an overtime loss against Bakersfield College.
