PC three-game winning streak snapped after loss to Sequoias

Freshman Tayshawun Bradford came off the bench to score a team-high 15 points for Porterville College in a 94-66 Central Valley Conference loss at home to visiting College of the Sequoias on Saturday.

The defeat snapped the Pirates three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Porterville fell behind 44-32 at halftime and couldn't get much going offensively in the second. A poor night shooting really hurt Porterville as the Pirates made just 23 of 60 attempts (38 percent).

Bradford did his best to spark PC. He sank a trio of three-pointers and also had 3 steals. Da'Morea Green and Darion "DJ" Wilson both added 13 points.

The Pirates will look to get back on track on Monday (Jan. 14) when they travel to West Hills College Coalinga for a Central Valley Conference game.
