The 2018 freshman season for Porterville College third baseman Chelsea Ramos will go as one of the best in team history. Following her outstanding first year in a PC uniform, Ramos was named to the 2018 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American team.

Ramos, a first-team selection, was one of the top offensive players in California in 2018. She led the state with a .630 on base percentage and ranked third with a .564 batting average. She was also third among state leaders with 7 triples, ranked fourth with a 1.051 slugging percentage, was sixth with 123 total bases, and was ninth in both hits (66) and runs (51).

In 138 plate appearance, Ramos struck out just six times while earning 17 walks. She smashed 9 home runs and totaled 50 RBI. 32 of her 66 hits went for extra bases.

Ramos also earned All-Northern California honors and was named first-team All-Central Valley Conference.
