All student-athletes need a new Pre-participation Physical Exam for the 2021/22 season!

The PPE MUST be on our form and MUST include the PPE history form, which is part of our ATS paperwork package

Vision Statement

The Porterville College sports medicine staff strives to provide injury prevention, management, evaluation, and rehabilitation services to all student-athletes. The PC athletics department is committed to professional care that reflects the mission and vision of the institution.

Mission Statement

The mission of the sports medicine staff is to provide all Porterville College and visiting student-athletes with high quality health care in a professional, efficient, compassionate, and service-oriented manner. In consistency with PC’s athletics mission statement our main goal is to provide a diversified program of prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries that will assure a positive recovery experience, an improved quality of life, a safe return to full athletic participation, and continued athletic success.

Our philosophy is that the student athlete will always be the most important member of the sports medicine team. It is our goal to create a safe and welcoming environment in the Athletic Training Clinic, and we will continue to strive for excellence by enhancing our skills and knowledge through extensive, evidence based continuing education. We will comply with the recommendations and guidelines as established by the CCCATA and the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
