Freshman first baseman Ciarra Foakes has been on a tear to open the month of April for the Porterville College softball team.

Over six games so far this month (as of Apr. 11), Foakes has at least one hit in every game. She is batting .545, going 12 for 22 with 3 doubles, 8 runs, and 10 RBI. 

She currently leads the Pirates with a .429 batting average, 33 hits, 9 doubles, and 21 RBI.

Foakes is originally out of Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada.
