Bio

Keith Ford began his current role of Interim Athletic Director on October 1, 2024, and brings a wealth of experience in athletic administration and leadership to the position, having held various roles at both collegiate and professional levels.

He joins Porterville College after serving as Associate Athletic Director at Bakersfield College for over nine years. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at California State University, Bakersfield, the University of Akron, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

His extensive experience also includes twelve years in professional sports, working with organizations such as the Florida Marlins (MLB) and the Buffalo Bills (NFL).

Ford holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Sport Management from SUNY Brockport and a Master of Sport Science in Sports Management from The United States Sports Academy. He is a dedicated professional with a passion for developing student-athletes and fostering a positive athletic culture.

A Buffalo, NY native, Keith currently lives in Bakersfield,CA with his wife, Melissa and son Brody.
