The Porterville Pirates men's basketball team looks to open their home schedule with a victory as they take on the Olympians of San Diego Mesa.  Through 5 games, the Pirates have 3 players scoring in double-digits, led by Tyler Roberts (13.6 ppg), Travis Flagg (11.2 ppg) and Davy Baltus (10.2 ppg).  With the loss of Dale Kirkland in the middle, the Pirates look to sophomore transfer Greg Shaw to anchor the paint.
