Six Pirates scored in double figures, including a team-high 15 points from Quame Smith, as Porterville College cruised to a 100-74 non-conference victory at De Anza College in Cupertino on Wednesday.

The Pirates have plenty to be thankful for as they head into the holiday weekend with a 5-1 overall record.

PC led 41-36 at halftime before putting up 59 points in the second for the blowout. The Pirates also turned to the long ball, sinking a season-high 18 three-pointers in the contest.

Smith was a perfect 6 for 6 from the field, including three from downtown on his way to his 15 points. Mason Pyror scored 13 points with 3 three-pointers, Cameron Walker had 12 points with a pair of threes.

Alberto Laureano had a double-double with 11 points and a team-high 12 rebounds while Chozen Amadi also scored 11 points. Both nailed a pair of three-pointers as well.

Porterville returns to action on Dec. 2 when the Pirates travel to Bakersfield College for a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
