Pengilly earns second-team All-Central Valley Conference honors

Following the close of the 2021-22 season, Porterville College freshman forward Mia Pengilly earned second-team All-Central Valley Conference postseason honors.

Pengilly was a standout in an otherwise tough season for the Pirates. Pengilly averaged 12.2 points and a team-leading 10.5 rebounds over 20 games for Porterville.

Her finest game of the season came in an 82-32 win over Hartnell when she scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Pengilly came to PC from Monache High School in Porterville.
