The Porterville College women's volleyball team knew they were in for a tough match on Wednesday, facing No. 3 state-ranked Fresno City College. The Rams showed no mercy to the Pirates in a 25-9, 25-10, 25-11 Central Valley Conference win at FCC.
Porterville totaled just 11 kills in the match, getting a team-leading three kills from Emily Kissick. Madison Doty, Jocelyn Sanchez, Paige Borges, and Kuea Angilau each had two kills each.
Jordan Castaneda totaled six assists to go with six digs while Karissa Jones also came up with six digs.
The loss dropped the Pirates to 7-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play. PC will look to bounce bac on Friday (Oct. 11) when they host Reedley College in a 6 p.m. conference match.
