Pirates earn four All-Central Valley Conference postseason honors
Following the close of the 2024 Porterville College women's volleyball season, four Pirates were honored with All-Central Valley Conference postseason awards.
Earning second-team All-Central Valley Conference honors was sophomore outside hitter/defensive specialist Noelani Espiritu.
Espiritu led the Pirates on defense with 296 digs and averaged 3.65 digs per set average. Offensively, she was second on the squad with 205 kills and served up 25 aces.
All-CVC honorable mention accolades went to sophomores Brandi Flores (DS), Rubi Guzman (DS), and Aliza Bun (Outside Hitter).
Flores was fourth on the squad with 227 digs while Guzman posted 273 digs to rank second. Bun was top on offense for PC with 224 kills as well as a 2.80 kills per set average. She also totaled 257 digs and 31 aces.
Porterville closed out the season with a 7-17 overall record and finished tied for seventh in the Central Valley Conference with a 4-12 mark.
