Pirates end season at Northern California Regionals

SALINAS – The 2024 Porterville College cross country season came to a close at the Northern California Regional Championships at Toro Park.

The PC women totaled 325 points to finish in 12^th place at the regional finals. Lizbeth Ramirez led the way, taking 57^th place overall with her time of 22:28.9 on the 3-mile course.

Liliana Hidalgo was up next in 67^th place at 23:40.2. Also finishing for the Pirates were Itzel Ferrer (81^st, 25:38.2), Haley Castillo (84^th, 26:20.7), and Alondra Mora (89^th, 29:07.5).

The Porterville men had only four runners compete and did not receive a team score.

David Parra once again led the Pirates. He was 93^rd, clocking in at 26:53.0 on the 4-mile Toro Park course.
