Pirates end season at Northern California Regionals
SALINAS – The 2024 Porterville College cross country season came to a close at the Northern California Regional Championships at Toro Park.
The PC women totaled 325 points to finish in 12th place at the regional finals. Lizbeth Ramirez led the way, taking 57th place overall with her time of 22:28.9 on the 3-mile course.
Liliana Hidalgo was up next in 67th place at 23:40.2. Also finishing for the Pirates were Itzel Ferrer (81st, 25:38.2), Haley Castillo (84th, 26:20.7), and Alondra Mora (89th, 29:07.5).
The Porterville men had only four runners compete and did not receive a team score.
David Parra once again led the Pirates. He was 93rd, clocking in at 26:53.0 on the 4-mile Toro Park course.
