PC Softball’s Sayra Sanchez named to Academic All-State Team
April 08, 2020Porterville College sophomore Sayra Sanchez is not only a leader on the softball field for the Pirates, but also excels in the classroom. On Monday, Sanchez was honored by the California Community College Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (3CFCA) by being named to the Academic All-State Team. -

February 27, 2020Kuea Angilau smacked a solo home run, Anissa Gomez had 3 hits and a pair of RBI while Ally Boyd (pictured) tossed a two-hit shutout to help lead Porterville College to a dominant 6-0 win at West Hills College Coalinga in both teams’ Central Valley Conference opener on Thursday.

Angilau blasts 2 home runs in doubleheader split vs. Moorpark
February 21, 2020Sophomore slugger Kuea Angilau smashed a pair of home runs to help lead Porterville College to a doubleheader split against visiting Moorpark College on Friday. The Pirates suffered an 11-1 loss in five innings in Game 1 but rallied late to take the second game 11-10 in eight innings.

Angilau blasts pair of home runs in losses to take over state lead
February 11, 2020Porterville College sophomore Kuea Angilau continued her assault on opposing pitchers on Tuesday. She smashed a pair of home runs in what proved to be one of the few bright spots for the Pirates in a pair of non-conference losses at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.

February 07, 2020The Porterville College softball team came home with a split of its two non-conference games in Folsom on Friday. The Pirates closed their day with a 10-3 win over Shasta College after falling to host Folsom Lake College 10-1.

Porterville opens season with impressive sweep of Victor Valley
January 31, 2020The Porterville College offense was ready for the 2020 season to get underway. Facing Victor Valley College in a season-opening doubleheader on Friday, the Pirates totaled 27 runs over 10 innings on their way to a huge sweep of the visiting Rams.
